We are looking to get headsets for us to use on the bike.
We have decided on Scala Rider.
We are wondering what the difference is between the new Teamset and the Q2?
They are about $100.00 apart in price and would like to know what you get for the extra cost?
I have looked for a comparison but have found nothing so far.
Let me hear your opinions and thoughts of these units.
Thanks, Ken
I have the Q2 and they are awesome. Did a 2500 mile trip with them. My dad and I had them worked perfect with the 2 bikes. Well worth the money. They work exactly as advertised. One of the best products I have purchased.
Have also been running with the Q2 for the last 6-8 months and they are awesome (even with 1/2 helmets). I use them with my wife 2 up and now also with her on her own bike. Battery life is great.
Just ordered the Q2 multiset. They should be here by next weekend.
Anyone find a good bluetooth MP3 connector?
It would be nice to use my Ipod without having any cables going to the helmet.
Thanks for the imput.

For Christmas last year my wife bought me the Scala Team set. We used it on our 3,100 mile trip to the BRP,and we love it. We also found that when she is riding her bike behind me,if she stays arounf 25ft behind me we can still use it. So there was not need to par the extra $100 for the bike to bike set. I have used it on mt 1/2 & full face helmets both. We also like the bluetooth function and if the call comes for my wife I can alwasy push the button and include her in a three way conversation. I think you will love it.
I usually use a 3/4 helmet and am thinking about getting the Q2's but wonder if there is a way to hear the bike radio with these? I am going to get the xm module sometime before spring and would like to listen to it through the helmet speakers.
The Vox on my Q2's stays activated when riding and is quit annoying. I wish it would shut off and stay off until manually activated.
Hi, You can shut it off... visit the site, the instructions are there...
I have the Q2 as well, around 20 of my fellow club members have it...
I believe the Rider is just for the rider and passenger... the bluetooth distance is around 10 meters as opposed to the Q2 which has a range (max) of 500 yards...
