08 EG Classsic Hesitation at launch

I recently purchased my first Harley, an 08 EG Classic. This is also my first bike with fly-by-wire throttle. The bike has a slight hesitation at lauch. I was curious if this is a common characteristic of the fly-by-wire throttle or if it something that I should have the dealer look into while the bike is still under warranty.

Welcome to the forum - can you describe the hesitation, is it lunging or jerking forward? Or does there seems to be a lack of response when twisting the throttle?

Mine did the same thing until I installed a tuner. Smooth as silk now.

It is not a jerking or lunging it is more of a stumble. Almost as if it is not getting fuel. It is very consistant. Thought at first it may be the clutch slipping but it does not do it if I launch in second or of I accelerate from a slow roll in first.
