'03 Ultra CD player is dead..
Well, my CD player on the Ultra does not play anything. The radio works, but all they have on FM is crap!
Any recommendations on an upgrade? I'd like to have XM and have the system work off the handle bar switches.

I have a Hawg Wired set up, with a Sony deck in mine. It has the MP3 CD player, so I can burn a disc with up to 10 hours of tunes on it. I also have the XM radio module in it. Everything works off of the handle bar controls. It's a very simple "plug n play" set up. I'm a Hawg Wired dealer if you are interested in that route. There are also some other vendors out there who offer similar set up's that work with the handlebar controls.

Same thing happened to my '03 Road Glide's radio. I was going to get the new '06 Harmon Kardon radio but the wiring harness is different and with all I've read about the problems with them ... I'm glad I didn't. I got the "Retro Radio" kit from Biketronics with the Sony GT-400 radio and also added the XM Satellite module to it. It works great and also plays MP3's and WMA tunes too .. you can get a ton (over 200) of MP3's on one CD .. so, for those times you lose your XM signal in the mountains ... you can just hit the handlebar controls and switch to the CD or AM/FM radio.
