With that said, I spent $1200 fixing my car because of E10 fuel separation and gunking resulting from using Shell gas..
They had a problem back in 2005. Shell had an additive that messed up fuel pumps ( or fuel gauges) in Dodge cars. It only happened for that 1 summer. Cost them a pretty penny to fix. I've made a lot of money off of the Shell plant. I sometimes joke that I should've painted my bikes yellow and red since they've paid for most of them indirectly, but since then, I rarely, and only if need be, use Shell Fuels.
It didn't affect Chev or Ford though?? Weird?
