Default condor wheel chock question

For you guys with a Condor, what hole are you using for the cradle mount?

I called Condor and a nice lady told me the third hole in from the back. Is this correct?

I have it in the second hole now and I am having a problem rolling it out of the chock without some one's help pulling on the back of the bike.
I have a little age on me and I am not as strong as I use to be.

I have an 08 SG with a stock MT90/16.

Thanks!

I use the last one cause I have a 23"..... try them all out and see which one allows you to roll it off with ease and still hold the bike up properly.

I will give the 3rd hole in the cradle a try and see if it is not such a chore.

I've been using the second hole from the back for the last year. Works fine. Bike is very solid. This setting allows the front tire to be fully engaged and still about 1/4" off the bottom of the chock. The following is an excerpt from the Condor instructions:

RECOMMENDED CRADLE SETTINGS:

The SC2000 is designed so that for every tire/wheel size within the ranges specified a minimum of 2 cradle settings are suitable. The optimum cradle setting for a specific tire would be, the setting that allows the cradle to tilt as far forward as possible without making contact with the unit’s mounting surface or ground. The 2
nd optimum setting would be the setting forward from the optimum setting away from the entry direction. If less retention is desired at any time due to too much retention or sticking, the cradle may be moved away from the entry direction one notch.

Hope this helps.

I have an ultra with a 130/90-16 tire and I use the third hole. The second hole requires to much pull to get it out of the cradle. If my legs were longer the second hole would probably be fine but the third hole requires much less force and still holds the bike just fine.

Can you just use the cradle put the tire against the wall? Need the extra space to close the tailgate.

If I get this right.
The upright part of the chock does a whole lot to stabilize the bike
Mainly from falling over !! Not sure that I'd want the upright removed but guess it could be done

I have 2 condor chocks we use
