Thanks for all the info. I ended up buying a cooling vest from Industrial Savings.com. They had good prices on vests and neck wraps.I bought two sets, one for me and one for my brother...total about $88.00 including shipping. I will let everone know how they worked!! Thanks to all that responded.. if you want to find honest help this is THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!1

if you can, stow bottles of frozen water in your saddle bags. As the ice thaws you have cold water to dring. wrap each bottle in a terry hand towel to insulate and cool your neck off. You can also wet a towel and place around your neck with the ends inside your collar. The air passing over the wet towel cools as it evaporates.

You can get a cooling type scarf at any welding or most golf shops.
These are small and compact and work pretty good.
