Default RE: Intercom ?'s

Hi Guys - Thanks to orcas tow for the question...same one been on my mind for several months. I've heard similar stuff about the Chatterbox, too. Ran across a product by Nady, Inc. They're better known for high-end professional sound & stage equipment, but wondered if anyone has experience with this one? My wife and I are enjoying our new '06 ElectraGlide Classic, and want a good intercom, just don't want to buy the first thing to come along. Most people in the bike shops I've asked don't seem to know much about any of them. I don't care much about FRS/GMRS radios, just the ability to talk to my partner without turning heads and shouting!
Thanks!

I had a Nady before getting the Chatterbox. Sound quality left alot to be desired. I am happy with the Autocom.

On question: If I buy a Autocom at wire it up with the kenwood radio - will I then be able to communicate with the other guys talking on their CB's on their Ultras ?

Yellowstone?.... hurry up, snows starting to get down to the lower elevations now. But, at least get into the vicinity cause lotsa other excellent riding in the area. Trailering the bike there?

ORIGINAL: orcas tow

My wife & I are heading out to Yellowstone in a couple weeks & have upgraded to 3/4 helmets from skid lid's so our kids are more likely to have their parents around in the case of an accident, problem is that with the new helmets we lost the ability to talk while riding, anybody suggest a intercom for under $200, what are some features to look for or stay away from, is there a standard mounting procedure for the mic's? Thanks for any info 2005 FLHTI
