Has anyone actually done a side by side comparison between these two tail light systems? They both seem to be great products, but I haven't had an opportunity to see either of them in person.
Personal comments with pics would also be nice...
TIA
P.S.
I been to both websites already and seen their pics...
I took a look at the Custom Dynamics web page and noticed that the video is with the “optional brake flash” but I couldn’t find it anywhere so I have no idea how much it adds to the cost or to the install.
The Bright *** Light, which is what I have, is a straight forward swap and does not require an optional brake flash. Indeed, it has several patterns (and three intensities) built in which are easily adjustable with a provided magnet.
I haven't done a comparison but I have the Custom Dynamics light and it's certainly bright. It kinda looks like I have my brake light on when I don't. Then when I do put on my brakes...it's REAL bright. The BAL light has a few more features, but you'll be paying for those. I really didn't feel like I needed those, so I went the less expensive Custom Dynamics route. If there's a brighter light out there...I don't see the need for it. This one is plenty bright. I'm sure some people on the road find it annoyingly bright.
