Side Car question
Are the HD sidecars easily detached ?
If so, what's involved ?
Some manufacturers (California & Motorvation) promote their detachable mounting systems, but MOCO does not, though i've read in a couple of articles that they are disconnectable.
Any 'outfit' guys care to enlighten a prospective 'rig' rider ?

They are not too difficult to remove but, it's not a take it off today and put it on tomorrow morning before work deal. You will need to install a brake line quick disconnect to make it easier. There are three large mounting bolts, an electrical disconnect and the sidecar brake line to disconnect. I've been able to remove the side car in about 20-30 minutes. Putting it back on is another story. Lining up those three bolts can be.........trying, to say the least. I have put it back on in as little as a half hour and as much as an hour lining up those @$#@ing bolts.
I believe having a sidecar rig is a good excuse to buy a second bike. Don't forget, your tires wear different with the side car on and if you remove it and ride the bike that can be felt. It's not a big deal but it bugs me.
