Default Klock Werks Mufflers?

Anyone used these? I saw some at a Harley dealer and thought they looked good - of course that doesn't say anything for how they perform and how they hold up. Anyone? I was looking at the Klock Werks Super Saver Slip-on Mufflers (someone in their marketing department sure could have come up with a better name!).

Not sure I would install any product on my bike named super saver. You get what you pay for.

Well that's my point. The marketing is crap. The company basically says the reason they're a lower price unit is that they don't have billet muffler tips. These are not cheap mufflers. They list at $360 per pair.

bought a set for my 09 road glide. took a chance. like em alot look great. they come out past the bags about 6 inches nice low deep tone under power. mellow at cruise speed. louder than SE pipes. worth the 310 shipped.

Any blueing? I think these are the ones I want based on looks and sound. Surprised they're louder than SEs but then again the "SE" designation on SE mufflers is virtually meaningless since about 2002/3 when the MoCo stopped selling anything that was not street legal.

Had mine on for about 4 months like Quato. Quality is good; no blueing. Really sound nice under load. Especially starting around 3,000rpm.

Two of my buds with baggers have offered to buy'em if I were to try something else. Kinda says something right there. Looks like KW is offering shorter versions as well if you want something at bag length.

Khrome Werks HP Plus slip on mufflers are the best sounding and performing .
Looks are not cutting edge, but they use a unque baffle that works.

If I didn't use a D&D 2-1 system, I would be running the Khrome Werks slip ons.

I bought a set of straight cut super savers based on what I felt about KlockWerks commitment to baggers and performance. I love the look, sound, and it was a benefit that they are a reasonably priced exhaust. On Klockwerks products you buy quality once. Best exhaust I have ever purchased. Low rumble that evens out when your speed does. Got a great deal at Ride Shack.

Here's a good video of the SS mufflers

I've got the KW 2:1 and love it. If I wasn't a 2:1 guy I'd probably have the super saver mufflers.
