I'm considering buying one and was wondering if it's worth it. Anybody add this to their bike and if so was it worth it? Is it labor intense to replace? Could you possibly post a picture? Can you show me naked pictures of your......... never mind, lost my mind for a sec. Thanks!
I'll be honest with you, I don't have my SG yet. I am still trying to get rid of my 07 VROD. I'm sure someone on here has this setup though. I just like the look of it being padded and all. Seems to me that a painted inner would reflect more sun into your eyes. They look really cool though, nice custom touch either way you go. I'm just a bagger wanna be for right now.
Mine is black so I dont think I got quite the dramatic effect as others but it was and obvious must have for me. I moved my oil temp gauge up to the right and installed a hidden antenna, XM, Hog Tunes and new bars with heated hand grips at the same time.
I just recently had my inner faring changed out ( before I was run off from the dealership for having the " for sale" sign on my bike) and ordered it thru the dealer. Took about 4 weeks to get it( rootbeer color) and I love it. The best addition I have ever made to a bike. Lots of comments on it.
You should try to change it out yourself or find someone cheaper than the dealer because they charge and arm and a leg to do it.
