Default Alternative radio?

Anyone installed another brand of radio in a Classic or Ultra? My 1997 H-D radio is starting to act up and they want an arm and leg to repair. I'd like to get a more modern radio with MP-3 capability and CD. Utilizing the handle bar controls would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Look in the members section for Firecap and give him a call. If the handlebar controls haven't changed since "97 you should be in good shape. Call crutchfield and see what they have in the way of stereos that utilize car steering wheel controls, they can be outfitted with an adapter for your handllebar controls in most cases.

Kenwood, Pioneer, the choices are pretty much dependent on what features you want and how much you want to spend.

Default Alternative radio

I have installed a Sony Marine grade radio/cd/xm. To install, I used Biketronics Plug and Play kit. Uses all the factory switches. Hardest part was the fairing. Installed on FLT. Good Luck.
