Doubt you will ever see ABS as an add-on accessory. But there are a lot of good deals on older models. I would go for an '09, but thats just me. I think there is a huge change with the new frame in '09.
I'd go with an 08, you get the larger tank, 96" motor, 6 speed. Personally I don't like how they changed the brake lights and signals on the back of the 09s and 10s, but I'm biased. I've got a great looking 08.

Just a correction, only changed the 10s. 09s are the same as all others...
I've ridden all but the '10's and while there is a bit of improvement with the '09/'10 chassis it's not enough to get me to swap my '06. In addition my '06 w/ 5 speed gets as good if not better mileage than any of the 6 speed models. My '06 sit's lower than the new chassis, it doesn't have "fly by wire" or ABS, no cats, and it has tires that are easy to find (read 'in stock' here) at any HD dealership (MOCO or indy) should an emergency arise.
I was just at my local dealer dropping off the glide for the 10k service and got talking to a buddy that works there. Right now they're offering 103" upgrade on a new 09 free or a 1000 off the price. Your local dealer might be doing the same thing.
I have an 08 and my buddy has an 09. If I would have known the upgrades on the 09 I would have waited but I am very happy with the 08. I think the 08 is a very good bike but the frame change and gearing changes on the 09 give it the one step up. I wouldn't even look at anything before and the 10's don't interest me at all. That being said, money does obviously play a big part in your decision so you have to go with what you can truly afford. Either way, go out and get something cuz your not getting any younger reading this.
