Default Key Fob Problem

One of my key fobs does not work (the other one does) so I replaced the battery with one that I keep in my saddlebag and it still did not work. I then bought a new battery and still no go.

Any ideas what I could try?

Edit; Boy do I feel dumb. I had the battery in upside down on the spare fob that I took along on a trip.

Maybe it was never matched with the bike or lost its memory when the battery was bad. When I installed my own smart security system the fob had to be programed to the bike. Dealer charged me half an hour labor to program the fob and erase the codes from the instal.

Surgjr,
That's a beautiful paint scheme you have there on your RK. Is that factory? Man, I like it a lot...

Don't feel too bad about it... most of us have been there right beside you.
