I wanted to let everyone know about how happy I am with hog tunes. Let me start by saying I was not paid to post this.
I got my hands on a 40% off coupon from my local dealer and bought both the tweeter bar and upgraded 902.2 Front Speakers. I ended up paying $180 for both. The installation was very easy I was a little nervous about drilling the inner fairing but that was made easy by these little plastic templates they include with the speakers.
The speakers sound GREAT! Before the highs and mids were muddled and sound was distorted. Now the highs and mids sound clear and the lows even sound much better.
I highly recommend that anyone that loves listening to music while riding you give some serious thought to getting these. Don't pay the dealer to do the install. Take your time and anyone can do this. My dealer (Mike's Famous) charges almost $300 to do this install.
Congrats! Looks great! This will be something I look into once I get a few other mods done first (exhaust and bars for sure) So much to read about as far Hogtunes and other brands. Seems everyone has something good to say about them all LOL.
how bout the low down on the 40% off coupon. Still available?
NOPE! I had to be at Mike's Famous here in Delaware before they opened to wait in line. First 50 customers through the door got the coupon. I wanted the Screamin' Eagle "Ventilator" Performance Air Cleaner Kit but they didn't have that in stock so I got these. Turns out I got a better deal on these anyway so I guess it worked out for the best.
I agree, I installed the Hog Tunes HOG POD, tweeter set up! Easy to install and sounds great! Very happy with the purchase, they should give me a commission, cause 2 of my friends bought it after hearing mine!
