just my 2cents... i dont think you need the amp if you have the newer HK radio... speakers should do... i have both amp and HT speakers,,,, cant go more than half volume before sounds is distorted...

After putting about 90 miles on the bike with the new speakers I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I saved the $ and bought the speakers without the amp. I don't think it is needed.
