I was on another thread talking about downsizing from my ultra since I dont tour anymore and my wife never rides with me.I was thinking about going to a dyna, etc. But after paying 13,000-04 ultra-then having to payoff 17,000 because of high interest to eaglemark bank i cant see losing so much money.I probably would only get 7500 for my bike.it has 76,000 miles on it.perfect mechanically after getting cam plate and tensioners replaced, but the miles make its value real low.So, now I may take off the tour pack.bike is too heavy and bulky for intown and traffic riding back and forth to work.Plus my favorite bike is a streetglide.I need to lower the seat real bad.has air zeppelin seat.Too tall and too wide.I am 5'9 30 inch inseam.I read here the badlander seats are too hard.I know there are some ezxpensive drop seat conversions, you can change to lower profile shocks, lower the suspension front and rear, but really would just like to drop the seat about an inch, think would be enough.Input appreciated.

Sounds like you want more than a change of seats is gonna provide you. I bought a reach seat from HD and it lowered me down and moved me up. I find it very comfortable still a two up seat though.
The wife has an 03 EGC and she has both a mustang and a corbin to choose from, corbin is my old one. We put a bolt on lowering kit on the rear and left the front alone and she can stand flat footed with her 5'5". And as far as it being an around town bike she want to get an ultra. And remember it isn't WHAT you ride, it is IF you ride that matters.
Maybe give http://www.meancitycycles.com/ a try.
They can move you up or down or forward or backward.
I hear people like their stuff.
I am thinking I might send my EG seat to them this winter.

Got any more information on that bolt on kit?Name and cost or link?
I have the Danny Gray speed cradle solo. very nice seat lowered and puts you a little forward. I'm 5'9" with a 29 inseam. I'm flat footed. of course bike is lowered as well.
+1 on mean city cycles, I love what they did
to the seat for my Ultra. Lowered and moved
back an inch each, double memory foam, seluxe
heaters, and ostrich inlay in the center sections.
