Back in Oct I purchased my first Harley, 2010 Road King in scarlet red/vivid black. After years on a Yamaha Midnight Warrior, my wife was just not comfortable on back for more than 50 miles. So looking at all the other offerings we bit the bullet and picked the RK. After 1000 miles, while in for service, I really missed the get up and go of the Yamaha. So my wife wanted me to be happy with our $20,000 purchase. In went a 103 kit, se-211 cams, tuner, and Rienhart slip ons. With the 1000 mile service another $2300. Now this is the way it should be. Very happy and hope I did the right thing.
Welcome to the best resource on the net and congrats on the new bike. The worst thing bout this place is that we'll have you spending lots of cash lol. But hell, tis only money!

Congratulations and welcome.
You did the right thing. This won't be the last upgrade you do. It becomes an addiction and the only negative is you may run out of money.
