Default Fork Baffle

Anyone using the front fork air baffle? If so, what comments can you give?

Thanks,

I had one on my Road King and combined with a windshield it really cut down on the swirling wind effect especially on the highway. Haven't tried it on my Ultra yet though.

I put one on the first week I owned my '09 FLHX. I think it makes a significant difference in the amount of wind coming at you from under the front of the tank. For $20 you can't go wrong. Just remember that you'll most likely need to chase the threads prior to mounting this as there is a lot of paint in the hole. Other than that the install is a cinch and you'll love the effect. I went with the black one as I feel it blends in the best.

I put one on my 2009 FLHX and felt it made the buffetting worse. Now I have the fog lights on the engine guard which may be a factor.

As said above, for $20, try it. Some really like it.

Default air baffle

Some people think it's the best thing since sliced bread, I myself don't see what all the hype was about, didn't notice any difference with it on or off. Couple of my buddies have tried it too, same thing, no difference.

Love it, makes a world of difference!!! I had one on my 06 Ultra & forgot to transfer it to my 09 Ultra so had to buy a new one. It definitely minimizes the air swirling up from under the gas tank/fork area. And if you get caught out in the rain or on wet roads, it minimizes the amount of water being blown up into your face too.

Made some difference for me and it was easy to install. No problems with the threads at all.

However, it is not going to get rid of the buffeting completelly, at least in my case.

Have an 09 FLHT. Didn't have any air flow problems til I wanted to extend my riding season and added vented lowers to my bike. Now the air flow is so great, it will lift my prescription glasses up and tweak the frames at 65 mph. Installed a chrome baffle and saw no improvement at all in my situation.

I could tell a little difference but for $15.00???? i have wasted $15.00 on much worse things... i want to but the side fork chrome air deflectors next... i think it would cut some of the air on my chins when i am driving in the cold.
