I have one on my 06 SG and I noticed a difference, since it's cooler now, but I plan on removing it in the summer to give the top of the front cyl better cooling.
To me it's not that big of a deal to ride with a little more air in the summer, but I sure do like it (baffle) in the winter. Every little bit helps in the winter.
But I read somewhere on this site that the MoCo quit putting them on (stock) cause of the heating issues.
