My 2 cents... I had an '08 RKC. I was in Florida looking at property and rented an '09 RKC for the day. I was so impressed by the improved handling with the new frame/tires, etc., that when I got home I traded the '08 for an '09...and then I moved to Florida so I could ride year round!

I totally agree, really not impressed. I deffinatly would not get ride of my perfectly running 08 for one.
As for your cam ? I put the se255 cam on my 08 with rush true duals SE slip-ons high flow air and PC V and the TQ is amazing I am so happy with the way it runs, what a great upgrade for the price.
Good Luck

I have the 08' EGC and have owned it since new. I got a chance to ride both the 09' Road Glide and Ultra. They were nice rides but I didn't find anything near significant enough to make me want to go out and buy one over my 08'. I've never had any bagger wobble on my 08' and she's been through the Ozarks. A Harley tech was telling me once how the 08's are really nice bikes. The first bikes with the brembo brakes, ABS option, 6 speed tranny, better engine mounts, etc. I guess it's like others have said, probably a lot depends on your riding style.

They are all good bikes. I prefer the softer ride of the 08. I'm 62 and my wife is 67. We typically will ride 500-800 mi per day, day after day. The new chassis is stronger and stiffer. Exactly what my riding style doesn't need. I have not experienced the ''wobble'' that others have. My tires are properly inflated and fully loaded 2 up my shock pressures are usually 28 psi. I am not rich but can easily afford a new RG if and when the mood strikes. I honestly found the 09 to be a harsher ride. I'm sure if riding wide open through turns is your thing a stiffer chassis is really a good idea. For me the term ''Bagger'' and hi speed cornering really don't belong in the same sentance.

+1 on that .. we also spend lots of hours "touring" and the need for stiff suspension is very rare or nonexistant for our riding needs
