It's smoke tinted. The dark screen is too dark to see through at night.

I have the 12" Klock shield. I'm 5' 11". Bellow 75 mph the wind is not noticeable. Over 75mph and there is buffeting at the top of my helmet. still not a big deal unless the ride is more than 60 min. At that point I start tucking my head sport bike style.

16"-Great protection but it is about a half an inch to tall for me so I have to sit straight up to see over it otherwise the top is just in my line of sight and screws me up.....
x-t-c is the same size as me. I was thinking of getting a 16" Klock for long rides but, this is my first Tourer and I am not used to looking though a wall of plastic. So Maybe I'll try Cee Bailey's 16"dome?... Don't know if it will be much different though.

I've had both the 12" and 8" KW shields, both dark tinted. Honestly, they are over-priced and perform poorly. If you ride any distance, I would suggest a Cee Bailey Super Step Contour Euro. I run a 17" light smoke and it has served me well for over 20K this year.

I did keep the 8" KW around for running in the mountains and the twisties in SD/WY. It affords absolutley no protection but looks cool and doesn't interfere with my line of sight.

Oh yeah, I'm 6'3" and sit on a C&C custom tour seat...One nice thing about any of these winshileds - if you don't like it, sell it on eBay for a few bucks less than you paid for it!

Sonar, do you have the dome or euro? Tough to tell from your pic.
