you'll like the clearview! hardley any buffeting with mine but i'm 5'9" with a 29" inseam. i think with the clearview, you can "test" ride it as long as you keep the protective wrapping on it. if you don't like it, you can send it back. if you go on a test ride, test it at your normal traveling freeway speeds with the regular gear you'll be using. at anything less than 45 mph, it'll be peaceful. at higher speeds is where you want the windshield to shine and do its thing.
I called CeeBailey's to get the low down on the differance in height between the euro vs. the dome style.... Asthetically speaking, I think the dome style is gonna look better. Lookng at their measurement chart, it shows big differances between the euro style 14" I have and the dome style 14" I want...haven't received a response yet.
Did you see they ran a 30% off sale over the week-end? The website was hosed so if you call and tell them you tried to buy one over the week-end they might still give you the special pricing today.
I had a Clearview Small in light tint and didn't care for the looks. I've got it for sale actually. I switched to a CB Euro in dark tint and like the look better.
Always like the look of the klock werks and cee bailey ssc, etc. But they never seem to work for me. Have had a cv +2 for a year now and love it. Just added hogg chopps about a month ago and its even better...ride safe.
Sparkyo,
That was my concern, I like the looks of the Cee and KW's but was afraid they would not work for me. Not many complaints with the Clearview except for being kinda ugly. So who cares, most folks think the Road Glide is ugly anyway.
I learned after reading all day yesterday that the HoggChopps are a really good mod as well - I'm meeting Andy tomorrow to pick up a set! Want to get them on the bike before the Snowball Express IV flys into Dallas on Wednesday.

Thanks Hams, great backgound in your sig picture! Yea, worse case is I waste $46 in roundtrip shipping but I think it'll work great.
The toughest thing about owning a Road Glide is finding the right windshield for you.
I'm 5'10" but the Clearview small GT has been perfect for me. My buddy is the same height as me but sitting down he's taller than me. He needed the 1" over.
wes- yeah, that picture was taken as the sun was rising just east of Mt. Whitney near US-395 here in Cali. A week long, 2000 mile adventure! Had a great time!!! Just didn't particularly like the fact a Big Sur bear was clawing a tree and marking its territory (and hungry!! as it searched through my buddies BMW saddlebag for food) just 5 feet away from my head as I lay there wide awake and petrified in my tent. Talk about respect for nature.

*****! missed that one. I'm still confused about their measurements and haven't heard back from them with an explanation.
This is what I have (14"): The 2009 SSC SERG Edition - *the 14" (looks euro to me) they say it's for a 5'11" to 6'1" rider.
This is the one I want: Road Glide TR Super Step Contour Edition -*the 14" DOME they claim fit's a 5'6" rider.
