evo / shovelhead inner primary removal. I can not get the clutch hub off. I dont know anybody that even uses the HD clutch hub removal tool, so I know it can be done.
I have already tried putting the spring tension plate back on the htree studs and using a 1/2 bolt and washerson the inside to push off the hub nut (hub nut only on the threads a bit to protect them). this didnt do much moving. Perhaps i"ll try thr hammer trick in the morning.
It comes right off if you remove the c-clip from the shaft.
Granted you'll have to depress the fingers of the spring plate to do so.
I fabbed one out of a couple of short pieces of 1-1/2" angle iron with a piece of 3/16" flat bar(welded together) and a bolt with washers to press the plate down.
It took less than an hour to fab the tool..........30 seconds to remove the hub after the "tool" cooled!
