For those with new touring bikes that purchased this, what is the typical cost for the 5 year extended warranty with tires and road hazard?
I mentioned it to the local service manager that I wanted to talk about getting the extended warranty... but got distracted and never had the discussion. This was last weekend when I took the bike in to get the wheels replaced under warranty.
Just want to have an idea of how much it is and what discounts folks are getting.

What's this wheel replacement under warranty all about?
Call Jim Palmer at Kutter HD. He wont be undersold.
I have used my ESP warranty on several occasions. I think it cost me 1500 with tire and wheel. I had a flat tire replaced on the rear, two shifters replaced, wiring on the aux lights fixed, head cover leak fixed, two horns replaced, engine transmission leak fixed, ignition switch, and three header pipes replaced.
It's well worth the piece if mind knowing your covered on the road even if you never need it. I had a flat from picking up a nail last summer but the tire had 10,000 miles on it and was ready to be replaced anyway. The warranty did not cover the tire due to it's remaining tread life.
This is where the HOG roadside kicked in. I always upgrade to premium coverage for a few dollars more. The tow company that took me to Great Falls said they charge 1200 for the tow. They usually get 150 from insurance for road side assistance. It cost me nothing.
The first flat I had with 3000 miles on a back tire was covered for a tire and 90 mile tow.
Question: do I need to actually go to the dealer to buy a extended warrantee? Or can I shop by phone and pay by credit card and have them mail the stuff?
