Help with HD logo on new paint job...yes your "opinion"!!!
So, one of my Christmas gifts is a new paint job for my '09 FLHX. I will be painting it Black Denim...this you can not change my mind on. Another thing you can not change my mind on is I want a gloss black HD logo painted on the tank. I would like it simple/subtle, hence the gloss black on denim black.
I would like to hear what simple HD tank logo you think would look good. Picture or link would help.
Thanks!
Bryan
EDIT: Would gloss black with mega metal flake be to gaudy?

Up until June I was working and making good money. I bought everything I wanted for my bike and planned a paint job, same color but with different pinstriping. The attachment is what I bought to put on the tank and I want the pinstripe to match but will (as soon as I can) have it painted. Also I want the pinstripe to go across the side covers, something HD IMO overlooked. Doesn't address your post but I had nothing better to do.....

I really dig your idea. I actually thought of something like the striping of a Road King. I've also planned on extended bags from Top Shop and the RK striping would look good on the scallop of the bags.
