Sorry to change the subject Watchguy, but your bike looks awesome with that fairing. Just wondering which fairing you decided to go with and if you have a radio in it? I have an '08 RKC would like to go this route. I appreciate any info. Again, nice bike and I hope you find the right pipes for it.

Thank you.
The fairing you're looking at is a Memphis Shades Batwing. They don't have any accessory compartments, just plastic composite. It came in black and I had a local body shop match and paint it for me.
I've been through several sets of slip ons looking for that little rumble over stock and have finally decided on the Fuelmoto's Dyno Tuned (slash down) slip ons with black billeted tips. Fuelmoto's pipes are very versatile and they make a set of competition and interchagable quiet baffles as well.
My experience listening to pipes has been that even though they may sound great at idle, the real sound test comes out on the open road. Loud pipes may be ok for some, but I prefer a nice rumble that's easy on the ears after a day of riding. Good luck on whatever you decide to go with.
I'm partial to fishtails on the RKC but they're not for everyone.
I wouldn't say these are a slight increase in sound but they're also not ridiculously loud. These are Freedom Performance sharktails. They do have a baffle but no packing (no room for packing).
