Ultra seat install
I just had a new Sundowner delivered to my work location for my 2001 Ultra. All it has is a tongue in the front, no rear mounting points. Is that all there is to replacing the stock seat with the Sundowner, just sliding it out and sliding the new one in? Do you have to remove the tour pack for seat installation? No installation instructions were included.

do not install and ride without a rear mounting to the fender. My Sundowner came without the rear fender bracket so i used the one off the orig. seat.
If you can get the old seat off without removing the tour pack, the new seat will go on. if the pack comes off to get to the seat rear mount screw then put the seat on before you reinstall the pack.

I have removed and installed my seat a number of times without removing the tour pak. Use 2 hands, one on the screwdriver and the other holding the driver to the screw and slow turn it out. Saves lots of time removing the pak and reinstalling just to take out a single screw.
