I run the tires per manufacturer's instructions. In my case, it is Avon Cobras 39/45 psi.
hey HB....How close to the sidewall posted cold max psi is that? The reason I ask, is I had a set of Continental's new for Harley Conti-tours put on my '17 while in Daytona..... The tech at J&P set the rears at 49, the fronts at 42, both sidewall max....the bike rides and handles great at those pressures..... the on site Continental guy gave me the party line, "set them according to the owners manual).... I know that's crap, because those numbers apply to the stock Dunlops...when I lowered the Contis to those numbers the bike handled like ****...... I have tried unsuccessfully to get a straight answer through Continental's consumer service ..... anyone running these that want to share their PSI?? Thanks....DW
