Any one know a way to get the golden look off my right
muffler? I think it might have gotten a little too hot after
a fuel pressure problem I was having. It's not real bad, but
it bugs the crap out of me.
Never seen Wizards before.Where do you get it?
Thanks for the help.
Some of the Dealerships are starting to carry it, but NAPA is where I got it the last time. A can lasts you a decade or more. LOL Fantastic stuff for aluminum too! That was my primary reason for having it, but it works on chrome too. Stainless stuff like my headlight tins polishes up real well with it too.
Oh yeah, if you ever go to swap meets or other events with lots of vendors, keep your eye pealed for it. I always keep a can of it on my shelf, along with all my other lil waxes and stuff.
I've got the ame problem. Blue Job worked just ok for me. It worked GREAT on the bluing I got early on, but that gold color is a real b^tch to get off.
I'm going to get a can of that Wizards stuff and try that one....

Still need a lil elbow grease with it, but you'll be happy.
If your bike is tuned properly the pies will not turn gold. I would say that is a sign that there is a lean condition. But...I have used Blue Job as well. It worked reasonably well.
I had a fuel hose in the tank spring a small leak and cause my fuel
pressure to drop. I am guessing this made a lean condition. It is fixed
now. I have had these mufflers on about a year and a half and this just
now happened.
Thanks for everyone's help.
