I like the look of a cap style cover, but would also be concerned about riding in a heavy rain without some time of cover, like the heavy breather has.

Thanks Jamie. With the quality products and support you currently offer on your other goods, this will be icing on the cake.

I do like the joker idea.

Not sure if those are what you're looking for, though.
Gonna give em a look.

I would JUMP on a cleaner cover in CNC that matches my wheels! That, or a wicked looking Joker. DO IT Jamie!!

I like that too, are there other graphics to choose from? Linky?

Thanks so far for all the input. Lots to think about and look for.
I'd be REAL interested if Jamie makes some covers that match some of the popular wheel schemes. I'd be all over that.

Jamie, Match my wheels or a wicked Joker for me. PLEASE?!?!?!?

I did away with the football. Got real tired of it. This is a Harley part and it has a thiner profile as well. I made the Streetglide insert for it.

Would/could changing the cover cause any significant change in air flow causing the need for a new fuel/air map? Assuming you already have a Stage one.

Fits EvolutionŽ 1340 and Twin Cam-equipped models with stock air cleaner (except '08-later DynaŽ and FLSTSB).

That's what I did. Had the Skull insert and added a smooth cover when they were clearancing a bunch of stuff at the local HD. Came out nice and doesn't seem to impeded airflow. It doesnt sit right on top of the filter and the entire back is open.

A low cost project was to get some rattle-can black wrinkle paint and use it on my "football" cover, horn cover and passenger floorboard covers. With a tad of effort in prep, I got good looking and durable (2 riding seasons so far) black wrinkle finish parts. They look great on my Vivid Black EGC. An somewhat more expensive option of course is powder-coating.

Any suggestions for a screw on cover that fits over the round element that looks good?

Don't put a cover on at all..............just put an endcap on the filter and run it exposed.

I've been running mine open for years with no problems at all.
