We have talked about finances already. We live together now. I make pretty decent money and she makes spectacular money working for the govt. I told her that I like to get a new bike every few years. She said that was fine and I should. I told her that she could have that Street Glide she always wanted when I get a new bike. I know things will change, but I do not see them changing much from how they are now. I have a lot of toys and told her Im not selling anything. As a matter of fact I was gonna sell my street rod (34 Ford)and she talked me out of it.

I could jump in here and poke fun at ya, specifically about the change comment, remember every potential wife likes change as much as Obama. Seriously, just think that half the marriages end in divorce and half of the guys lose their Harleys in the process. That being said I am as happy as can be and you might have found the One, but beware even the best of them knows she will change you and women have more psycological stamana than men by far. You are but an infant when it comes to these matters. As long as you know this going in you should be alright. Another thing to remember is marriage is like managing a Union work force never set a precident that you are not prepared to live with the rest of your life.

Well, I dont plan on giving it anytime soon, and I do have 100 days to return it.
The only thing I was saying about the change is that we live together now, 2 years so far. We jointly pay bills and do things. I feel we know each other pretty well, and moneys not really an issue. I guess time will tell. It not official until we say "I do"

Congrats! I have been with my better half for 31yrs last Nov. There will be good times, to go with the harder times. Try to keep things in the open, don't let things "Bottle up" and keep God in the marriage. Things will be quite good I am sure for you!
Man, 31 yrs ago, I think I spent something like 1,600 bucks on a 3/4 K diamond. Back then they didn't use the SI ratings, they used three "C"s Cut Color and Clarity. I got one that was very nice,, with only one minor feather which they mounted under a prong. I don't know what that relates to now, but it "Hurt the checkbook" then! LOL
I really need to see about a newer (BIGGER probably) one for her,,, (she has dropped a couple subtle hints,,and she's worth it.
