Hello,Would anyone know where I can get a tour pak or saddlebag buckle and clip set for a 09' FLHRC, I building a tow trailer for my King and It looks like my saddle bags so far without the buckle and clips. I'm also looking for small wire spoke wheels, if not I'll go with the polished aluminum ones
The buckles can be bought from HD separately 90425-98 $22.95. They have repair kits also for saddlebags for the clips and whatnot. You can have a leather shop make you the straps.
I made it out of a car carrier and my brother did the welding. And a few ATV parts, and a few store bought axles, hitch. But I found that the steel wheels are to heavy. Just finished some of the leather work,I still have the fenders to do
NO,Just out of the spare bedroom,Grandmother tought me the sewing machine.bought a book on leather working.I also covered the engine guards, saddlebag forward guards, clutch leavers, light bar, forkcovers in 4oz black leather and studs. Studded the trunk and saddlbags, and seat ,backrests.
So I'm doing right now a leather fairing bra w/studs,floor board fringes, bottom rail of the saddlebags, making mud flaps. So I'm kind of turning my 09' into a 50's style, I ordered front fender guard w/out rubber and reflecters,a rail and stanchion kit.
I could buy the stuff but it looks cheap, anyway it's a long cold winter in Alberta Canada. I have more pic's in my gallery.
