I got one of these chrome usb charging ports with my pyle sound system for my dyna just found this pic of one on another site wow they are nuts on the price from that site i didn't even pay that for my whole system this site wants $154 bucks i still have to mount mine but figure i can use it for several things.
just me but before i paid $100 for just that pcs id buy the pyle speaker system with amp for $110 take that out of the package and then resale the speaker system for $75 or $100 on ebay and call it a day.
I wonder why an Ipod bottom hook-up and a 3.5 plug end couldn't be fused together to one cable? That way it would charge as well as play in the aux port? Anyone know if a critter like that exits, and if not why?
I'm looking to combine GPS and iPod music to play through the Aux in on my HK radio. It looks like the TomTom GPS app for the iPhone will fade the music when the voice by voice instructions come on through the GPS.
The pocketdock comes with the 3.5 line out cable. If you buy a mini usb to cigarette lighter cable or a combination of usb to mini usb and cigarette lighter adapter you could use heat shrink to combine the cabling together.
I think this set up would work well and could be used in a car too. Now I'm just looking for a secure iPhone mount that doesn't attach to the handlebars or gas cap for my Roadie.
