Default Any luck finding a measurement?

I posted the same question and had no luck finding the answer! I also want the measurement from the top of the fork to the oil while the bike is on a stand. IMO this is the only way you really know the true level of oil in the forks without complete disassemble, then compressing the forks and measuring. Measuring oil and pouring it in will not give you a true level. There is residual oil in the forks, especially if you don't take out the springs and loose a tooth doing so, then pumping the crap out of them! This should be easy, but everyone wants to drain the oil, capture it then pour it back in, or add new in the same amount drained. If you pour the 10.7 oz's back in and spill a little are you suppose to drain it again and start over? The process should be simple: drain it, fill it, pump it, measure it, done! I have two 13's one is a SG and one is a Ultra Limited. I am at the point where i am going to check the level on the one I'm not working on.

apparently Mother Harley does not pay much attention to fork oil levels or amounts. I have changed fork oil on many Harley bikes and not once was there anywhere close to the required amount in them.

Most recent I removed 15oz from BOTH forks on a road king, no leaks.

Any chance you still have the measurement from top of fork to oil level? My forks are on a 13' Street Glide.
