Cool Got a rubber duckie antenna...

Replaced the stock whip with a rubber-duckie from my local auto parts store for $5.00. Reception hasn't changed at all.

HD sells the shorties, get those. If you live around civilization, there won't be any discernible difference in reception.

Dealer has the hole plug, same as on opposite side. Fairly cheap too.

I did the same and it works great. It's flexible as hell too so if you cover the bike it bends out of the way and comes right back to shape afterwards. I've noticed no loss of reception on AM or FM

eBay has on for like $25 that you can put inside the fairing I did it to mine and still het weather band on the radio
