Default Header Compatability

Just checking if any of the gear heads in the touring section can answer a question for me....

Will 88" headers fit a 80" EVO?

I'm thinking not, but just looking for solid verification.

My concern would be that the ports would be in different locations than on my 80ci, either spread apart a little farther, or at different angles making fitting the pipes impossible.

I'd really like to get the newer pipes so I can mount up a newer, and easier to find set of mufflers.

Even their website shows the pipes for a 94 and back fitted to a twin cam 88...

I'd love to slap on newer style pipes for the sake of muffler availability.
