Well, I probably got more money than common sense, which, i dont really have much of either, lol, but i cant pass up the looks of a full autometer gauges on a electra glide, So i guess im going to attempt to covert my stock gauge cluster to a full auto meter cluster, Ive decided im going to use the muscle car gauges, anyone else attempt this or think about doing it, i know klockwerks has as set you can buy, but its 1300 bux, I think i can do it for around 500. heres the gauges im gonna use, whatcha think?
The only one you might have a problem with is the speedo. The advantage to the Klock - Dakota, etc. is that they are "plug-n-play". I sent my 03 gauges to a company called "Nu-Image" and had new faces put on. Look great, work great and took 1 week including shipping from Ga. to Ca. O-Yea cost $200
Sorry , those look like they came outta my Grandma's old Chysler, Dude !!! If you're goin Autometer you're goin for the race look , so go race look not those.
Primarily because my bike is a 1998, ive seen the spun aluminum gauges, and really like them, but for what they go for and the amount of modification required for each, plus the autometer will come with a warranty, I wonder if anyone has used the cvo gauges in a older bike?
