Did the SE comp install today on my 07 RG and as it happens I did not need to do any grinding, very close though, also no need to remove the clutch assembly, weather has not cooperated for a test yet but starter knock is definitely gone. will update when weather clears.

 

Another satisfied customer. And this is for those that don't think they have a starter knock with the stock compensator.

 

My neighbor had his replaced this past summer on his 08 SG. The noise it used to make on start up is gone.
