Default HD boots

I have a couple pair and the last ones I bought, the soles are wearing very quickly. I paid full price as they are zip-ups as opposed to the pull-ups I already have besides the ones in the past. Anyone else experiencing the soles wearing quickly? And I only use them for riding, do not get off the bike and hike, whatever. Just wondering if the materials they are using as of late are sub standard.

I've had a pair of the FXRG 3 boots for the past year and the Vibram-style soles hardly show any signs of wear. Waterproof, side zips and I paid something like $126 through Zanotti's for 'em.

Well go figure. They are located in Butler, Pa. where people can be trusted.... Just a couple clicks from Sixburg. I still can not order boot or especially a helmet online. I guess I have an egg head..... Best as I can recall I paid about $170.00 from Barnett's in El Paso.

I got the exact same boots (without the HD brand) from Leatherup.com for $72.00. Nice boots and good fit too.

Academy has HD boots with HD logos and packaging for 30 to 40% cheaper than the dealer.

Example: My zip up boots at HD $129 same fricken boot at Academy everyday price of $89.

I bought a pair of the HD black leather zip up engineer boots. $99 on sale. Made in China. MOCO must be following Walmarts lead. I don't wear them. Guess I need to get my old boots resoled. By the local shoe repairman. Anybody need a pair of size 12 Chinese made boots?

Dunno about HD boots, but I really like, and only wear RedWing boots. They are a little pricey, but made in USA and are excellent quality.

I bought my new "Harley" Brand pull up boots at....Sears! They were a lot cheaper than the local dealer for the exact same Harley Branded boots. Now how the hell does that happen?

I have a pair of Haven Zip-ups from harley, that i've worn for about 5 years now. They were my full time riding boot, and then rotated to a "work-boot". Yes the soles are pretty worn, but i feel they've given their money's worth. YMMV however.
