Hi Bladman. Where did you get your mp3 player that is on your right handlebar. What is the model number and does this wire thru your radio or what? It looks great.
thanks
Dixie
I have a 07 Street Glide and I am using a Zen MP3 and have trouble hearing it at highway speeds. \\; Radio is all the way up the MP3 is all the way up and the AVG is up as well. \\; I can hear CDs and radio stations fine at the same speed. \\; Please help... I need my metal.
Try a gain normalizer like MP3Gain. \\; It will take some experimentation to find the right level without overdriving the input but once you've found the right setting, you're golden. \\; I use the Zumo MP3 feature all the time but found I was adjusting the output gain too much. \\; Since I started using MP3Gain \\;I'm very happy with the volume on the highway
Yes, power comes from inside the fairing. Don't remember where exactly, as it has been several years since I hooked up my HA-90. \\; It is an awesome little MP3 player. \\; Nothing fancy, songs have to be placed on the root of the drive, and not in folders like an IPOD, but I still love it. It just looks like it belongs there. As a matter of fact, I am compiling a new song list on one of my SD cards now for my upcoming trip.
One note. Be sure to format your SD memory cards to FAT32, or they will not hold all of your songs. \\; Do a search for this, as a matter of fact, I think that was my first posting.

Baldman (or anyone else that knows) is the only wire coming from the MP3 the one that plugs into the AUX or is there a consealed POWER wire someplace?

Look just to the left of my right grip...that is my MP3 player. I love it.
I have an XM Roadie 2 on my Ultra. \\; You'll need a power source and a place to mount the antenna. \\; Mine works great. \\; HINT \\; make sure the volume is wide open on the Roadie and use the bike volume to control it.
