When I use an IPOD on the ultra I just pace it into the lower fairing and use an audio out cable that plugs into the AUX port on the HK radio. make sure your speakers are turned on and then press the button on the right handlebar in until the radio switches to AUX and your all set.
Ok, So I was thinking about this today. I have a Starmate mounted and I use my I-Pod also. At this time I use the FM modulator for the Satellite and Aux for the I-Pod. This is what Im thinking of doing. Im going to buy another switch and install it next to the Spot switch. Then I'll run and Aux cable and split it between the two..... Ok, As im typing this I might not be able to use a stock switch but I would install a small switch and hide it..... Ok, I need to think about this and sketch a quick schematic...... I'll let you all know but it will happen so I can get the best of both worlds. Oh, As for the I-pod I place it in the winshield pouch.

Well, you could do that... or you can go to radio shack, get a stereo headphones Y adapter and just plug them both in. All you would have to do is leave whichever aux device you are not using turned off.
