I have the harley mp3 player plugged into the aux jack on the radio.. use a 2 gig chip in it, formatted as FAT32 so the player recognizes it.. have about 350 songs on there.
I used the mentioned equalizer program to get them all pretty much to the same level.
I put the Sirius Starmate on the other side, but I use the FM transmitter part of it instead of using the line out. I tried the Y adapter, but found out that it cut the volume level of the 2 items that were plugged into it, even if one was turned off. Removing one wire from the Y adapter increased the sound level of the remaining one.
I mounted the Sirius antenna on the inner fairing with weatherproof foam tape.. it does not need to be mounted on metal to work. Ran the power off the back of the cig lighter.
