I have been looking for a conversion for a little while now--chances are you're going to break the belt -- a HQs 107 will shred the new 07 and up belt (don't ask me how I know) it may/may not happen right away but if you are inclined to doing rolling burnouts, hitting the gas hard at take off, and/or pulling the front wheel of the ground find a chain or kepp a spare belt around. Most of buddies that have 07/08 bikes with built motors have gone to chain drive.
If you do find a conversion do me a favor and PM me,I'll do the same for you .Thanks Much!
And for the old guys.....the new style chian(O-ringed)= no lube
Who are you calling old?!
We old guys know that O-ring chains still need to be lubricated on the outside, so they can roll over the sprockets nice and easy. The O-rings just keep the lube inside where it belongs, but they are not that magik!
