It appears that Sonnax may be the distributor and sell Torrington/Timken bearings. If that is the case, than that is fine.
Upon further research, Sonnax does sell some Timken bearings but running that number through the system shows it as being a Sonnax brand and not Timken so I'm not sure which one it will be.

To make things simple I just bought the timken bearings myself and I will take it to the builder if I decide not to give it a go myself. Dawg, by the way, what is your recommended head gasket (size) and do you have any familarity with these copper ones? I did a google on head gaskets and came across another site talking about the copper gaskets. I did a search here but didn't really find anything about them. I have to figure they have been discussed but thought I might as well bring it up (again?). I believe it's from hemrickperformance.
The head gasket thickness all depends on the components such as what they are decking the heads to, etc. I generally use a Cometic .030, but if headwork is being done, I let the person doing the work know that I plan on using that so that they can compensate appropriately. Bean and Springer at Big Boyz have a new head gasket that they came out with, believe it was copper but not sure. You might want to check with them if you are interested in that one. I like the Cometic MLS one, but again you need to work that out with your person doing the headwork.
