FWIW, been riding for 48 years and never felt it necessary to dress in any way that would resemble an outlaw biker, or as many say today, dressed like a pirate. So many do though. Just drop by any HD shop on a Saturday; very interesting.
The outcome of the melee at Twin Peaks in Waco proved that most of the club members there had jobs and families, unlike the movies of the 50's-70's, that portrayed anyone on a motorcycle as being an outlaw.

Which is pretty much what I was intending to say, and thought I did.
My response was to the "outlaw biker" comment. I know what a 1% is, and I know some. They, too, come from all walks. My comments were directed at others that stereotype ALL who ride in to the "outlaw biker".
