Default TTS On 05?

I'm going to switch over to TTS from TMAX in the spring. What modifications are required on my 05 Eglide other than installing the correct 02 sensors to be able to use the autotune feature?

Thanks,
Rick

Make no mistake, the TTS has a V-Tune feature, not "autotune". 02 sensors is what you'll need and some saddle time and computer skillz to V-Tune the bike. Good luck. Make sure you have compatible cables to go with the TTS as well.

What I'm interested in is what wiring mods are required as the 05's didn't come equipped with 02 sensors. I know it can be done but I couldn't locate the info. I saw it somewhere, just can't remember where.

You can run a TTS on your '05 without O2 sensors. Of course, you won't be able to use the V-Tune software, and a dyno tuner will still have to use a probe, but I ran that way for about 8 month on my Night Train.

Adding O2 sensors is a pretty simple thing. You can get the sensors and harnesses from a dealer. It's just a matter of having a pipe with O2 bungs, routing the harnesses, and plugging them in to your ECM. You then load an '07+ map, and this unlocks all the goodies that the TTS can do.

I did mine when I did the build. I've quite pleased with it.

I don't know if there's a thread here about it, but there are other forums out there with relatively detailed directions.

But it's really a simple thing.

I've got the pipe (Fatcat) and will get the sensors but I thought on the pre-06 models some wires had to be added to the factory ECM harness to accommodate the sensor plugs.

(From memory), you'll need the sensors, the harnesses, and the pins that go into the ECM. I think the total in parts was around $120.

Thanks, does anyone have part numbers for the harnesses and the "how to" with the wiring?

Thanks,
Rick
