i posted it the tech area but im desperate i have a 08 street glide i changed the bars now it wont start turns over but no fuel did a wow test all lights lite up but the check engine light the fuel pump wont cycle with the ignition switch got the pump to run by jumping with battery voltage im stumped dont want the stealer to screw me if its something simple
Did you take apart the molex connectors and take out the wiring and reinstall when you did the bars? I'm guessing you may have crossed up the wiring somewhere like posted above. Sucks, but you're going to have to go back over everything.
I had the exact same experience last year on an '07 Ultra.
Lesson learned: you cannot connect the gray wire to the gray wire with the white stripe and expect the fuel pump to cycle and the bike to start. And I was just as sure as you are that I did the wiring correctly. Wonderful humbling experience. If the wires in the Molex connectors are in the right position, cut off the shrink tubing on the splices (if you have already installed it)and check color coding at the splices.
If all the wires at your controls are ok, you may want to check the start relay. On my 05 Ultra it's at the back of the battery tray. I've seen this happen to a 2000 Roadking. The bike would turn over , but the fuel pump wouldn't prime. Removed the start relay and cleaned it up. Bike started right up.
