+1 on firecap
I drive 4 - 4 ohm speakers with the 125.2 and the sound is awesome! There is a formula that shows how doing this actually makes the system have 2 ohms per side. If you would like I can try and find the link to the article that talks about this. If you are using the original harley 2 ohm speakers I think that is fine. My amp has run just fine and has not overheated even in 90-100 degree days in N. Calif. If I am not giving correct info please correct me.
If you go to Arc's website and download the pdf installation instructions for the 125.2 mini, there are pictures showing the wiring of 4 ohm speakers for 2 ohm impedance "seen" by the amp as described by bikebehaviorist.
+1 on the ARC amp, I also have the 6.5 arc speakers. Very easy install and all I did was take my CB and mount it under the stereo perfict fit and put the amp on top. I agree Call Wayne he is awsome to work with and will even walk you thru tunning it. Just the upgraded speakers where nice but night and day difference when you add the amp.
Take a look at the wetsounds amp, It is pretty much the same as the arc but it has more water resistance and cheaper. I have the wetsounds amp and a pr of 6.5 Memphis Audio speakers and it Kicks ***, My gal says she can hear it on her bike next to me with her helmet on. Pretty easy install also. http://www.throttleupindustries.com/hdforum.html
