What's the CCA of the Interstate battery?
All else equal, I tend to go for more power...

In another thread, and perhaps a different forum, a guy visited the East Penn factory and reported seeing both the Harley and Big Crank batteries running off the same assembly line. He claimed the same components went into the insides of both batteries. I'm sure there will be those who choose not to believe it, to each his own.

you're right. the one you buy from the moco has a bar and shield stamped into it. functionally they are the same.

Autozone sells an Extreme Magnapower battery for about $95.00. 400 CCA and also made by Deka.

I'm not sure why there's a disparity here, as that's the first ETX30L battery I've seen that wasn't 400CCA. These Deka batteries are sold by everybody and their brother: HD, several on-line sellers, Auto Zone, Advance Auto, and Wal-Mart, to name a few.

Deka gets my vote..400 cca..spins my modified motor just fine CR's or not..Been using Deka for a long time..bikes trucks, bass boats..Scooter

But Scooter, it doesn't have the bar-and-shield logo stamped on it. It can't be right.
